Hard shell spicy turkey tacos with cilantro, lime dressing. 🌶
These turkey tacos are a healthier spin on traditional beef tacos and they are just as good if not better.
To prepare first preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
On the skillet heat the olive oil, add turkey and cook for about 10 minutes. Add garlic, ancho chili powder, cumin, smoke paprika, fresh oregano, salt and 1 cup of tomato sauce. Simmer for about 15 minutes. When ready spoon the turkey into the shells and top with mexican cheese. Bake for 4-5 minutes.
To make the dressing combine greek yogurt, cilantro, garlic, jalapeños, lime juice and salt in the food processor and stir until creamy.
I served the tacos with red onion, red cabbage, red chili, cilantro and guacamole.
